slave (D/s) relationship is not
One-size-fits-all. It’s what the people in it want to to be. Before they enter
a D/s relationship, they will have negotiated what they want from it.
A Dom/me
may tell him to eat three meals a day and get an hour’s exercise. Or to go to
bed at a certain time. Or to turn off social media at midnight. Or not to buy
anything online without checking in first
Or they may
tell their sub to always be naked and kneeling in their company. Or to call
them by a certain title. Or to get ready to be flogged and caned. Or to sleep
in the cage
I’m not
into micromanagement, either as a sub or a Domme. I tell my sub to take care of
himself, to check in with me regularly, to tell me when he’s struggling. As a
sub, I tell my Dom when he’s about to make a fool of himself. When I’m not in
the headspace to play, or when I am.
Other
people do like being told what colour knickers they are allowed to wear that
day. How many steps they must walk. What time they have to go to bed.
It’s all
about what you want from the relationship.
